Cabin Occupancy Rules
We are very easy people to get along with, and have found that, by and large,
our cabin guests are also easy to get along with, and consider this nothing more
than good common sense. Unfortunately, we have found it necessary to create this
list of rules to insure there are no surprises.
During your stay you should…
 | Always observe the check-in and check-out times. This is the only way that
we can have enough time to clean the cabin for the next party. |
 | Not have any loud parties. No illegal drugs. No excessive drinking. No
pets. |
 | Respect other people’s property. |
 | Not litter or leave personal belongings in the common areas. |
 | Refrain from any obnoxious or distasteful behavior that could be offensive
to other people in the area. |
 | NEVER have a campfire anywhere on the grounds. |
 |
NEVER use fireworks. |
 | Not set up tents on the premises without making arrangements with the
Campbell's before your stay. |
 | NEVER discharge any weapon on the premises including guns, bow and arrow,
paintball, and/or BB or pellet gun. |
 | Only use toilet paper that’s rated for septic systems. It should say on
the label. |
 | NOT Pour any grease or heavy detergents down the drain. |
 | NOT attempt mechanical repairs in the cabin (i.e. snowmobile parts, etc.) |
Water privileges
 | Do not use our beach for a boat slip. Boats must enter and leave the
water at a boat slip either at Boat S'Port or The Baywood resort. |
 | Do not dock anything but the pontoon boat without prior arrangements with
the Campbell's before your arrival date. This includes rental as well as
personal boats, jet skis, and any other water crafts. |
 | DO NOT operate any watercraft within 200 feet of the piers unless you are
docking. |
 | DO NOT hit or cause damage to the pier or other boats docked near your
destination point. This can be difficult if the weather is bad, so don’t take
chances going out with the boat if you are not sure that you can dock the boat
safely. If necessary, jump off and pull the boat in. |
When you leave…
 | All furniture should be in its original place. |
 | All dishes should be washed and put away. |
 | The refrigerator should be empty and clean. |
 | All trash should be thrown out with
recyclables in appropriate receptacles. |
 | Both sets of cabin keys should be left on the island in the kitchen. |
If you used the boat…
 | The fuel tank should be filled with gas. |
 | Boat keys should be left on the island in the kitchen. |
Penalty
If it comes to our attention that one or more rules are being broken during
your stay, we will give you a warning by phone or in person. If the problem
continues and is determined by us to be too serious, then we will be forced to
ask you to leave. If this happens, we will refund the unused portion of your
rent, minus the $250 damage deposit. If necessary, we will involve the local
police.
Penalties can also be assessed after you have left. Besides a damage and
missing item report, we receive a report from our cleaning crew that will alert
us to extra work that was necessary, such as moving furniture back to it’s
original location or cleaning "the kitchen from hell". It’s rare that things are
so bad that we have to deduct $$$ from your damage deposit, but if necessary, we
will, to offset excessive cleaning, maintenance and/or repair costs.
