Fishing on the chain is among the best in the state of Wisconsin. The Eagle River chain is listed in the top 50 fishing areas in Wisconsin, and is rated third most active for Muskie fishing.
The 28-lake chain consists of the Eagle River Chain and the Three Lakes Chain. These water systems are connected by a dam and boat hoist, providing access to all 28 lakes.
